Battleship Iowa Amateur Radio Association’s NI6BB will be on the air from 1600 to 2400 UTC to commemorate Vietnam Veterans Day. Operations are expected on 40 through 10 SSB, CW and possibly some PSK. QSL per NI6BB on QRZ.com.

The Point Vicente Chapter NSDAR and the Battleship IOWA Museum will honor and make individual bronze lapel pins for all attending Vietnam Veterans. The ceremonies starting at 1100 PDST will be open to everyone and will be marked with other festivities, presentations, musical entertainment and much more.

On this date the Pacific Battleship Center will offer FREE self-guided ship tours to all Vietnam Veterans with valid military ID plus up to three (3) guests.
